New structure to season as they've scrapped the top 8 making quarterfinals replaced by:
1-4 first-round bye
5-12 play-in for quarterfinals
Maybe this year more than ever we can separate league into 8 pretty good teams, 4 really bad teams (my bottom 4), and 6 teams that won't be top 4 but could certainly make it to the expanded playoffs. 9 Mexicans must be in each 18 and you can have a max of 12 foreigners on your squad.
You play each team once (17 game season) and then in Clausura tourney flip the site played from Apertura
Predictions:
First Round Bye = Tigres, Monterrey, Leon, and Cruz Azul
Play-in qualifiers = Chivas, America, Santos, Xolos, Atletico San Luis, Pachuca, Pumas, Necaxa
Out of playoffs = Juarez, Atlas
